Badge of Honor

Out now on DVD from Hollywood Media Bridge and RLJ Entertainment is Badge of Honor which is directed by Agustin and written by Anthony Thorne, Nick Montalvo, and Agustin. Badge of Honor stars Mena Suvari (American Pie), Jesse Bradford (Flag of our Fathers), Lochlyn Munro (Tomorrowland), Haylie Duff (Naughty & Nice) and Martin Sheen (The Boxcar Children).

Oh her first day of the job brand new Internal Affairs detective Jessica Dawson gets caught up in the aftermath of a violent drug bust that includes an officer shooting of an innocent young teenager. Then facts as reported by the two narcotic detectives just don’t seem to add up. As she struggles to find the truth the ramifications of a single lie reverberate throughout the whole precinct. Soon she finds she can’t trust anyone including the precinct captain. In this gritty crime thriller that could be ripped from today’s headlines it’s cop vs. cop in a deadly fight for honor.
My Opinion: This was a good movie as it has a twist I was not expecting. I enjoyed seeing Mena Survari in a different type of role from her earlier films which include American Pie. This thriller had me trying to figure out what would happen next and I like that.
