Hammacher Schlemmer Zeki 9” Tablet + DVD Player Holiday Gift Guide 2017

Hammacher Schlemmer offers the best, the only, and the unexpected for 169 years. I wanted to find something to give as a gift that is portable to keep kids busy in the car on road trips so I discovered the Zeki 9” Tablet + DVD Player which is the only DVD playing tablet computer. This Android tablet computer that also plays DVDs. As a tablet, it possesses all the power and features a user expects: a 9" color LCD touch screen with 800 x 480 resolution; a 1.2 GHz Quad core processor, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of flash memory; an SD card reader, microUSB port, stereo speakers, and more. When one wishes to watch a DVD, simply pop the top of the tablet and place the disc on the platter.

Controls on the tablet make it easy to play, pause, and stop DVDs without an app. Ideal for travel, the tablet’s rechargeable battery provides three hours of DVD use on a full charge, plenty of time to enjoy a full-length movie. Includes AC and 12-volt DC power adapters, headrest strap, micro USB cable, and earbuds for private listening.
My Opinion: This is a nice tablet and the graphics are good it is also easy to take anywhere. I had a hard time setting up the WIFI at home but could connect it anywhere else I went so it was a matter of calling my internet provider to assist me.
