Half-Finished By Lauraine Snelling from Hachette
Book Group. Recognizing how common it is for crafters to start many projects
and finish few, a group of women joined together to form a guild Unfinished
Projects Anonymous- to keep each other on track and accountable. Three of the
friends are tasked with the job of home visits for their guild. Laughingly
called “the Cartel” the snoop around craft rooms and knitting baskets to report
on progress for the members. They even expand its mission to include check-in
on half trained dogs and half weeded gardens.
As life unexpectedly changes one of the members,
this ensemble of women in best-selling author Lauraine Snelling’s new novel
severs that much of life is finished projects, friendships, raising the
children, even our very relationship with the Lord. And that may be perfectly
fine.
My Opinion: this book is one that makes you think a
little bit as you have many unfinished things in your life and I for one know I
have things I half done. I really enjoyed the storyline and send invasive
having “the Cartel” being so nosy but in the end, everyone came together.
