The Guardian By Beverly Lewis

I recently received from Bethany House Publishing the Guardian by Beverly Lewis, if you have never read her books she writes a lot of Amish stories this book is part of  Home to Hickory Hollow Series. This finds widow Maryanna Esh on the way home from a gathering that raised money for children with genetic disorders she does not realized what happen to little Sarah Esh whom is 4 years old on the way home as she was on the carriage and then next moment she was not. Maryanna gets home and becomes frantic searching for her daughter and enlisting the help of other Mennonite men to search for her. Jodi Winfield comes to Lancaster to house sit for a friend and one day when she is out jogging she noticed a little girl who only speaks Dutch and takes her home and gives her a bath and finds her clothes to wear as hers where dirty and disheveled. She calls the people she was house sitting for and they told her to go to Hickory Hollow with this in mind she does and little Sarah directs her to her home where she meets the Esh family and was received warmly and got invited to stay for dinner and learn more about the Amish lifestyle which is fascinating to Jodi. I really enjoyed this book and you can learn more about it by visiting http://www.beverlylewis.com/books/239-home-to-hickory-hollow
