Available on DVD January 28, 2014 from ARC Entertainment is Stonados directed by Jason Bourque this movie star Paul Johansson (One Tree Hill), Sebastian Spence (First Wave) and Miranda Frigon (CW’s Emily Owen). The movie runs 88 minutes and set in the town of Boston which is the closest big city to me. When a tornado appears of the south of Boston former storm chaser Joe Randall is curious by the unusual weather. But as twister began to strike across Boston’s shoreline; Joe quickly realizes this is no ordinary storm front. As the storm threating to move inland the citizens of Boston find themselves trapped in a tempest deadlier by the minute. With the city under siege Joe his sister Mandy and his old storm chasing partner Lee realize they are dealing with a never before seen weather event known as Stonados. The only way to stop the storm is an untested theory about weather manipulation; the same theory that Joe has been trying to prove for decades. The storm is spreading and threating the entire Eastern sea board as well as Joe’s children who are trapped in a storm besieged stadium Joe and his motley crew will have to give it a try. My Opinion: This being close to where I live makes you think anything can happen but knowing it is Science Fiction is a plus. This movie is interesting and has action to keep you watching. I give it 3 out of 5 stars.
