ARC Entertainment will be releasing Axel an animated tale on June 3,2014 on DVD (SRP $20.99) This movie is about an adventurous young Boca who realizes he must do something about his starving tribe. Along with his friend Nipop he heads out in search of a magical plant from the Bota Forest in the hopes to feed his whole tribe and make him a hero. He encounters Liza King who makes this task harder than it has to be as Liza wants to take over the forest with his giant robot ostrich he escapes and is on the adventure of his life. They also become friends with a beautiful and brave princess. Can Boca save his tribe with this magical plant? Will his dream of being a hero ever be realized? This stars Ed Asner (The Mary Tyler Moore Show) , Tim Curry (The Rocky Horror Picture Show), Matthew Lillard (Scooby Doo Movie), George Takei (Star Trek), Sean Austin (Lord Of The Rings), Elle Fanning (We Bought a Zoo), Sean Hayes (Monster University) and Danny Glover (Lethal Weapon).
My Opinion: I really enjoyed this animated tale and so did my nieces and nephews. This has a lesson about self- esteem as well and kids can learn something.
