Mack's Place

A new restaurant has opened up close to where I live so I thought I must at least try this as it is one of the only places to serve seafood which I love. It is called Mack’s Place and it is located at 224 Portland Rd. Bridgton, ME. The first time we went it the menu offers a lot of options I ended up with a Turkey burger with a teriyaki garlic sauce and sliced pineapple on a roll. I thought the burger was salty and bun burned slightly but the service was great and people friendly at that time so we thought we would go back.

The second time I went was a bit busier and this time I ordered a Po’boy Scallop roll which I did not know has lettuce, tomato and mayo. The one girl was friendly and when we ordered we asked for tartar sauce which is standard for any seafood and was never told what came on it. Secondly 20 minutes had passed and we asked where our order was and it was sitting near the register they did not bother yelling it out to see if anyone was waiting and they wanted to charge extra for tartar sauce which is not cool as seafood tartar sauce should be standard and because of that they have lost local business from us. So if you visit the Lakes Region sin Maine this summer you can try this place and let me know your experience. The food is good but they still have alot to learn about customer service and taken time and paying attention to detail.
