Summer's Shadow

Out now is Summer’s Shadow on DVD from Mill Creek Entertainment which stars Belle Shouse (A Million Ways To Die in the West), Todd Terry (Dallas TV Series), Liz Franke (Adventures of Bailey: A Night in Cowtown). This was directed by Steve Franke.

All it took was a sweet, stray dog to change the life of a 12 year old Summer Larsen and those around her. Summer has a big heart and maturity beyond her years and Shadow named for always following her around was destined to be her dog; But For How Long? And at what price? With controversy building in the neighborhood, Summer is determined to do what’s right and care for Shadow. With the help of a reclusive neighbor and a nerdy boy picked on by the popular kids, she learns a worthy lesson that following your conscience is not always easy but the reward can be invaluable. This movie was inspired by true events and an endearing story for the family members of all ages.

My Opinion: I love these types of movies as they are feel good and involve dogs which is something I can relate to also I love movies that also teach something as we are never too old to learn. I loved this film and a great family one to watch over and over again.
