Black
Hawk Down: The Untold Story from Mill Creek Entertainment with an MSRP of
$19.98. In October 1993, two U.S. Black Hawk helicopters were shot down in
Mogadishu, Somalia. With the Special Forces pinned down at the crash sites, the
2nd Battalion 14th Infantry Regiment of the 10th Mountain Division (2-14)
engaged in a ferocious fight to reach the soldiers and bring them home.
The
infamous event is now shared in riveting detail by the troops and commanders
who showed extraordinary courage, skill, and discipline in the heaviest combat
since the Vietnam War. "Once a helicopter goes down, that becomes, in
military terminology, a baited ambush. They know that we don't leave our dead
and wounded behind.
We go get them. The bad guys know we're coming, and there
is only a certain number of ways you can get there." - Lt. Col. Bill
David, Battalion Commander 2-14 Inf. 10th Mountain Division.

My Opinion: This DVD makes you realize what all
service men and women go through every day to protect this country and it makes
you feel blessed and grateful for their service to do so. It was a heroic event
that shaped America.
