Gems One of a Kind Handmade Bangle Bracelet Blue is a lovely blue "gem" bangle bracelet may look like a stone, but

Silver-plated bangle and bezel. Each piece she creates is one-of-a-kind.

Blue Gem Necklace is a lovely blue "gem" in this pendant may look
like a stone, but it’s actually made from a vintage National Geographic
magazine photo. I treat pages in the magazine with a natural acid (which
marbleizes the paper) then fit paper into a bezel and lock in (and made water
resistant) with a glass cabochon. The chain is silver-plated, 18 inches. Pendant
diameter is 12mm (about 1/2 inch across).
My
Opinion: These are both beautiful pieces which is unlike any I have seen before
I like different and unique pieces. I love the blue color and it is amazing how
these are made. These are perfect for Easter and Mother’s Day.

About
Them: My name is
Marcia Passos-Duffy I'm Brazilian-born, US-raised, living in New England,
and the creator of Geo-Graphic Gems. Folks in my region of New Hampshire
may know me as editor and publisher of regional magazines (Monadnock Table, The
Business Journal, The Heart of New England & atHome Magazines). I not only
love to produce new magazines, but I also love to collect vintage National
Geographic magazines. I discovered a technique to transform older
National Geographic magazines into works of art quite by accident when a friend
I was visiting showed me the work she was doing using a natural citric acid
based product that uses orange peels to make works of art on canvas. The
process dissolves the ink on the pages that are printed on clay-based paper,
creating brilliant abstract designs.
