Mardi Gras is upon us and to make you feel you are
right in New Orleans and King Cake is an oval-shaped bakery delicacy, crossed
between a coffee cake and a French pastry that is as rich in history as it is
in flavor. It's decorated in royal colors of PURPLE which signifies
"Justice," GREEN for "Faith," and GOLD for "Power."
These colors were chosen to resemble a jeweled crown honoring the Wise Men who
visited the Christ Child on Epiphany. Community Coffee has now made it a coffee
to honor Mardi Gras and King Cake obviously called Mardi Gras King Cake made
with 100% Arabic beans that this perfectly balanced blend of cinnamon and
vanilla flavored coffee.
My Opinion: I enjoyed the flavor and it is not real
sweet so if you like your coffee sweet you will need to add sugar. It smells
like cinnamon when brewing and has a great flavor.
