God and Love on Route 80: The Hidden Mystery of Human Connectedness by Stephen G. Post

God and Love on Route 80: The Hidden Mystery of Human Connectedness by Stephen G. Post from Mango Publishing. Once every generation a book so revelatory and lucid, it reconnects us to our very souls. Stephen G. Post’s God and love on Route 80 is such a book. Post, co-author of the New York Times bestselling When Good Things Happen to Good People was the perfect child and A student until he took off in the family car, compelled by a persistent vision, his “blue angle dream.” Crossing America on Route 80, his unlikely adventure culminates in a shocking encounter that set the stage for the rest of his life, a path connected by synchronicities which Post perceived as guidance from God and proof of humanity’s fundamental oneness.

Truly a story for the ages, God and Love on Route 80 touches on the essential meaning of life and the messages we may all miss unless we begin paying close attention. This book highlights those surprising moments of synchronicity when just the perfect person shows up at just the right time in answer to a deep prayer or a moment of desperation. It is a pathway for those who seek their God-given destiny when their little human goals leave them running on empty. Above all, it is a pathway to discover that in the giving of self lies the unsought discovery of a deeper self.

My Opinion: This book allows you to do things for others that you may not have thought meant anything to you but it did to them. It is learning, showing compassion and lots of love. I enjoyed these different stories and what each meaning was.
