Habits of a Godly Woman by Joyce Meyers from Faith
Words a division of Hachette Book Group. Our daily lives are made up of habits.
Some are good habits, like going to work, brushing our teeth, or using coupons
to save money at the grocery store. Some are habits we’d like to change; biting
our nails, drinking too much caffeine, or becoming too easily frustrated. In
this compact digest author, Joyce Meyers explores the Habits of a Godly Woman, a
woman who wants to continuously grow in God and live as he would have her live.
One way to be disciplined and diligent about our spiritual growth is to purposefully
develop habits that will help us become more and more righteous.
God’s desire is that we should live contentedly in
close relationship with him. By staying focused on positive change, being
obedient to his direction, and working with the Holy Spirit to develop godly
habits, we are able to move toward becoming the people God wants us to be. We
are able to experience the joy and sense of purpose that comes with fulfilling
his plans and purposes for our lives.
My Opinion: This book really explains to you each
step a Godly woman in many ways from faith, gratitude, hope, peace, prayer,
God’s Word, and more. I was in need of this book as I am a sinner and flawed,
this book helped me to get my self-esteem back and become stronger with God and
also my life.
