Vermont Wagyu from Spring Rock Farm in Vermont sent
me 1 pound Burger which arrives in vacuum-sealed packages and you get 2-3
servings per pound which retail for $14. The beef has no added hormones, no
unnecessary antibiotics, pasture-raised and grass-fed.
My Opinion: This is tasty burger and I cooked it on
the grill and had some issues with it falling apart but it still ended up
tasting amazing and some of the best burgers I have had in a while. This is great
to order since the USA keep having to go into lockdown and having a hard time
finding meat at the local supermarket during this coronavirus pandemic.
What is Wagyu? The literal translation of “Wagyu” is
“Japanese cow” but don’t be deceived by the simplicity of its name. This
coveted Japanese beef tastes, unlike any other meat you have tried. It has an
incredible depth of flavor, predominantly because of the impressive marbling of
its fat. The marbling is a result of centuries as a working cattle used in
agriculture.
