“Memories
Made with Every Cup!” is the motto of Erika’s Tea Room and they have some great
tea and scones to celebrate Fall and Halloween. I was able to sample Caramel
Walnut Shortbread Herbal Tea This green Rooibos blend brews to an amber cup
with a nutty, buttery taste and deep caramel overtones. Has a delectable brew
that needs no sweeteners; and made with Organic Green Rooibos, flavoring,
safflower blossoms, and orange blossoms.
Gingersnap
Cookie Black Tea is a bold, black tea infused with orange, baking spices, and
notes of vanilla. Made with organic black tea, organic ginger, organic cinnamon
bark, organic orange peel, organic peppermint, goji berries, organic clove bud,
natural cinnamon flavor, and natural vanilla flavor.
Ginger
Pear Scone with crystallized ginger pieces and pear in the classic scone
recipe.
Pistachio
Chip Scone is your basic scone recipe with pistachio pieces and white chocolate
chips.
My
Opinion: Both scones are typical fall flavors and I love them both I was
surprised how good the ginger pear would be. The tea is also a nice touch to
have to warm up on the cool fall nights and take a cup along on Halloween as
they will have Trunk or Treat here.
