With all the chaos in the world recently you might
be wondering ways to protect your home from break-ins. I know I want to go out
and not worry if everything I own has been stolen or if I am on vacation worry
my apartment is broken in to and my belongings be gone. I want to enjoy myself and
let loose and have fun from my everyday stressors. Kangaroo Siren + Keypad is an
extra-secure accessory, the Siren is used with our sensors to provide an
audible household alarm when one is triggered. The LED-backlit Keypad and
included Roo Tags allow for convenient guest access and one-tap arming or
disarming. There Siren can also hear Smoke/CO alarms and send a notification to
your phone. It uses a microphone to do so, which can only pick up frequencies
between 3,000-4,000 hz. Any sound below that range, like a person
talking, cannot be heard.
Doorbell Camera + Chime meets the most affordable and
easiest-to-use doorbell in smart home security. Doorbell Camera connects to
your phone, where you'll receive motion and ring alerts plus photo-motion
recordings of activity. Doorbell Camera runs on three AA batteries (included)
that power the device for a full year with standard usage. Plus there's no
hard-wiring - either peel-and-stick or screw in the backplate and you're ready
to go. Doorbell Camera also comes with a Chime so you get notifications on your
phone and in your home. Add Porch Protection Plan and you'll be reimbursed for
stolen packages and increase your cloud storage to 365 days!
You just download the app and you are alerted to any
activity in your home rather you are there or not. You get the basic plan free
but can add extra security with a monthly plan as well.
My Opinion: I like how easy it was to install the
Doorbell Camera and the affordability of it as well. I have neighbors that walk
by my door half the night and this night camera feature tells me exactly who is
walking by. Siren + Keypad is also easy to install and using I also like the
smoke/co-option as where I live my heating system using propane but not sure if
ventilated enough so knowing if I get co poisoning is helpful.
