Out now from Joyce Meyer is In Search of Wisdom from
Faith Words. The book of Proverbs is the treasure of spiritual and practical
wisdom to live our best lives. Knowledge is important, but if it’s not
converted into action, knowledge fails to create transformational change and
practical understanding of the seven foundational principles in the Book of
Proverbs: wisdom, understanding, prudence, knowledge, discretion, discernment,
and fear of the Lord.
If we desire to possess these qualities, we must
make a commitment to a deeper understanding and implantation of these values in
our daily lives. Featuring inspiring questions and space for thoughtful
reflection, in search of wisdom while in like new with God’s understanding and
teach you the foundational principles insecure God’s help in practicing them.
My Opinion: I have not read the Bible myself but I
do read a lot of spiritual books so getting this book from Joyce really helped
me because I did not know Proverbs had a scripture passage about anxiety. I
suffer from anxiety a lot I’m sure a lot of people do now with the recent
coronavirus issues going on around. Proverbs 12:25 teaches us that anxiety
in a person’s heart weighted down, “but the kind words cheers it up.” This verse
shows us how to help people the way to do so is through kindness, especially by
speaking kind words.
