God’s Not Dead: We The People is in theaters now and
stars David A.R. White, Paul Kwo, Hadeel Sittu, Antonio Sabato Jr, and William
Forsythe. Reverend Dave is called to defend a group of Christian homeschooling
families. He finds himself taken aback by the interference of the government,
and believing that their right to educate their own children is a freedom worth
fighting for, Reverend Dave is called to Washington DC to testify in a landmark
congressional hearing that will determine the future of religious freedom in
our country for years to come.
My Opinion: This is a great movie to realize that we
have to keep our rights else the government will take them away and our forefathers
did not fight so hard for this to happen. What about the pledge of allegiance
at school which was taken out? Religion is a choice and this movie gave me hope
and made me feel empowered.
