Stemlit Dark Sweet Cherries

It doesn’t get much sweeter than cherries in the summertime, don’t you think?! Just like their name says, their dark-sweet cherries are dark red to mahogany in color with a flavor explosion in every bite. You’ll love the crunch when you bite into one and the incredible sweetness, acids, and juicy experience that follow.

Stemlit Dark Sweet Cherries can be used for just about everything. Whether you are grabbing straight from the bag to enjoy or adding to a delicious baked dessert, dark-sweet cherries taste great in salads, cooked dishes, and for juicing and freezing.

Stemilt might not be the originators of dark-sweet cherries (Turkey gets the credit for that), but their founding family has grown these drupes (or stone fruits) for more than a century! Their cherry season is longer than any other, starting in May in California, transitioning to Washington in June, and not winding down until early September. They also grow many different dark-sweet cherry varieties, including the well-known Bing and some of their personal favorites, Coral, Skeena, Sweetheart, and Staccato.

My Opinion: These are some of the best cherries I have had in a while and I love them sweet and dark like this. They are great as a snack or you can make many things with them from smoothies, a pie, cake and so much more.
