Sleep Smarter 21 Essential Strategies to Sleep Your Way to a Better Body, Better Health and Bigger Success by Shawn Stevenson forward by Sara Gottfried, MD

I like to read as it is relaxing but sometimes I have a hard time fitting it in my day. Recently I was sent a book called Sleep Smarter 21 Essential Strategies to Sleep Your Way to a Better Body, Better Health and Bigger Success by Shawn Stevenson forward by Sara Gottfried, MD. This book is about when it comes to health, there is one criminally overlooked element: sleep. Good sleep helps you shed fat for good, stave off disease, stay productive, and improve virtually every function of your mind and body. That’s what Shawn Stevenson learned when a degenerative bone disease crushed his dream of becoming a professional athlete. Like many of us, he gave up on his health and his body, until he decided there must be a better way.

Through better sleep and optimized nutrition, Stevenson not only healed his body but also achieved fitness and business goals he never thought possible. In Sleep Smarter, Stevenson shares easy tips and tricks to discover the best sleep and best health of your life. With his 14-Day Sleep Makeover, you’ll learn how to create the ideal sleep sanctuary, how to hack sunlight to regulate your circadian rhythms, which clinically proven sleep nutrients and supplements you need, and stress-reduction exercises and fitness tips to keep you mentally and physically sharp. Sleep Smarter is the ultimate guide to sleeping better, feeling refreshed, and achieving a healthier, happier life

My Opinion: This book has a ton of great tips for anyone including those who have trouble sleeping. I like the idea of creating a sleep sanctuary and buying a house plant to help with air quality.

  1. I have trouble with bedtimes. Almost every night, i feel too hard to get sleep. I have to read or watch something to make my eyes go close. I also find tips on the internet and try these for myself (as changing body position, listening sleeping music, not eating before go to bed at lease 1-2 hours, blah blah). And many ways are not work. If I have a change I think I going to buy this book for finding something it's effective for my sleeping time.

  2. Great book. I have this one and I had read to the last page in the first day I bought it. It's helpful for me, or for someone like me, having problems about sleeping time. Now I can wake up early and feel so fresh on every morning
