Cucina Antica Tomato Basil & Garlic Marinara

Cucina Antica is made with real Italian San Marzano Tomatoes with no added sugar, no added water, no preservatives, gluten free, non-GMO project verified, authentic Italian with homemade flavors. I was sent Tomato Basil  is what Chef Neil calls the “new marinara”. It’s simple yet light, fresh tasting flavor makes it the new kid on the block. Unlike most marinara sauces, our Tomato Basil has no garlic, only onions, yet it has the robust body of any marinara while maintaining its subtle fresh and light lingering flavor. Make a simple sautéed zucchini with a ladle of the Tomato Basil and toss over your favorite pasta or chicken dish. This is the best sauce for vegetables, chicken, veal or eggplant parmigiana. If you are not a fan of garlic, use this sauce for making lasagna.

Garlic Marinara  has perfectly balanced blend of Italian San Marzano tomatoes, fresh herbs, and spices. Simmer it for a few minutes and toss it with your favorite pasta to create a simply delicious meal the whole family will enjoy without the use of preservatives or added sugar. Any home chef will like this as it will satisfy everyone in the family.

My Opinion: I use the tomato basil sauce and I was very impressed as this sauce did not give me acid reflux like other pasta sauces do. The flavor of tomato and basil was mild and I made a pasta chicken bake with it and it came out fabulous.
