Coming to DVD (MSRP $19.98), Digital HD and On
Demand for release date of April 7, 2015 from LIONSGATE films is Yellowbird.
This movie was directed by Christian De Vita and stars Seth Green (Austin
Powers), Dakota Fanning (The Runaways), Jim Rash (The Way, Way Back), Yvette
Nicole Brown (Repo Man), Christine Baranski (Into The Woods), Richard Kind (A
Bug’s Life), Danny Glover ( Lethal Weapon) and Elliott Gould (Ocean’s Eleven).
Just when it is time to migrate to Africa, Darius
the elder of the flock is wounded. He will have no choice but to share all his
secrets, wisdom and new flying routes with the first bird that happens to come
along. The candidate is none other than Yellowbird, an eccentric little fellow
super excited about the challenge but without the slightest hint of knowledge
or natural talent for migrating whatsoever.
My Opinion: I enjoyed this movie and the message it
has to tell to kids to not be afraid of anything and follow what you believe in
with confidence. This film is a great family film with lots of excitement and
action on will they ever make it to Africa. I Love it and will be telling all
my family members to watch this movie. I love feel good movies and ones that
give me the warm and fuzzes.
