It is Summertime and to me, that is cold drinks to stay hydrated and to also keep cool. That includes drinking coffee and Melitta, in my opinion, has some great coffee and they are made with quality ingredients. To enjoy an Artisan Cold Brew Coffee use the recipe below.
1. In a pitcher, add 2/3 cup of ground Melitta Coffee to 16oz of cold water. Mix well.
2. Cover pitcher and chill for 4+ hours. Remove from refrigerator and stir vigorously
3. Place a Melitta Cone Filters in Melitta Pour-Over Cone. Set cone atop a carafe or jar. Pour the stirred coffee/water mix into the filter. Wait for all liquid coffee to filter through and drip in carafe below Repeat pour-over process until all mix is filtered. You now have Melitta Cold Brew Concentrate
4. Keep Cold Brew Concentrate covered and chilled for up to a week. Enjoy!
I personally made this recipe using Black Travel Mug & 1 Cup Pour-Over Coffee Brew Cone Set. The plastic cone is BPA Free and top rack dishwasher safe but recommends hand washing only. My Opinion: This was easy to make in the travel mug and I was pleasantly surprised and easy to take anywhere I want in my travel mug. The coffee was amazing and gave me a good kick to accomplish my day. Great summer drink to get out and explore.
