Premiering on Paramount+ May 6, 2021, From Cradle to Stage but it is directed by Dave Grohl and inspired by his mother, Virginia Hanlon Grohl, and her critically-acclaimed book, From Cradle to Stage: Stories from the Mothers Who Rocked and Raised Rock Stars, series is a dynamic personal exploration of the special relationship between successful musicians and their moms.
Featuring an all-star lineup, including Dan Reynolds, Pharell Williams,
Miranda Lamberts, Brandi Carlile, Tom Morello, and Geddy Lee the six-part
series takes each famed artist on an impassioned journey home and delves into
their upbringing and the tools they received as a young talent to survive the turbulence
of success.
The premiere episode featuring Imagine Dragons’ Dan Reynolds and his mother Christene, alongside Dave and Virginia, will be available to stream exclusively on Paramount + Just in time for Mother’s Day with the remaining five episodes dropping weekly on Thursdays.
My Opinion: I really enjoyed this reality TV show on
Paramount+ with Foo Fighters Dave Grohl it was nice to see his relationship
with his mom and other relationships.
