Oren’s Coffee is a great day to start every morning or have in the afternoon as a pick me up with a pastry. I was sent 2 flavors for review. La Minita Costa Rica with tasting notes of red fruit, floral, and full-bodied. Came from the La Minita Costa Rica farm since the 1980s; it comes from the most famous growing area in Costa Rica and for good reason. This strictly high grown (SHG) coffee is grown at very high elevations on the mountain to provide coffee beans that mature slowly, delivering a sweeter and more complex taste.
The La Minita farm is a pioneer in growing specialty-grade coffee. Using groundbreaking farming techniques that care for and enrich the soil, this farm delivers extremely high-quality coffee that’s consistently ranked among the best in the world. with tasting notes of full complex, and molasses. Oren’s House Blend has a
unique sweetness that’s enhanced by its full body. It consists of 1/3 Colombia,
1/3 Sumatra Mandheling, and 1/3 French Roast. Each cup is complex yet smooth and
is full of flavor subtleties. It’s a longstanding favorite with many of our
customers. Try it and it might become one of your favorites too.
My
Opinion: I enjoyed both flavors of coffee with their own unique flavors but I
prefer Oren’s Special Blend as the floral in coffee for me is not for me.
