A Bell for Maury’s Bicycle has received numerous awards. It won the 2024 First Place award from BooksShelf in the Children’s Books category. Books Shelf is on a mission to bring the world of books to life, and to connect authors, publishers, and book lovers in a unique and meaningful way. The book was also a 2024 Eric Hoffer Award category finalist, honoring excellence in independent publishing, a 2024 IAN Book of the Year Award finalist in the Children's Early Readers category, and won a 2023 Royal Dragonfly Book Award in the Picture Books 6 & Older category.
The
contest is a worldwide book competition that honors excellence in all types of
literature, recognizing creativity and hard work in 67 categories. A Bell for Maury’s Bicycle was also designated a ‘Story Monsters Approved’ book for 2023.
My Opinion: I am glad to see a book about money or finances, as there are very few for kids to understand money and how they can raise more money to buy what they need.
