Coming to DVD on March 2, 2021, from Entertainment Squad and DOVE family approved is Dolphin Island which stars Tyler Jade Nixon (Jurassic Tale), Peter Woodward (TV’s Troopers), Dionne Lea (Ray Meets Helen), Bob Bledsoe (TV’s The Daily Show). After losing her parents, fourteen-year-old Annabel Coleridge lives with her fisherman grandfather on a Caribbean island paradise surrounded by an extended family of loving but quirky oddballs and her best friend, a dolphin named Mitzy.
Everything changes when her rich maternal
grandparents arrive with a shifty lawyer to bring her back to New York. It's up
to her grandfather, her friends, Desaray, her new social worker, her charming
son, Mateo, and Mitzy to find a way for Anna to stay on the island home she
loves so much.
My Opinion: This is a touching
film about learning to grieve along with making some friends along the way and
touching other people’s lives.
