Recently there has been a big craze of coconut
products rather it is coconut oil, coconut butter etc. I recently saw coconut
sugar and I was intrigued as to what it was actually and here is what I found
out that it is a sugar produced from the sap of cut flower buds of the coconut palm. Coconut sugar has been used as a traditional sweetener
for thousands of years in the South and South-East Asian regions where the
coconut palm is in abundant supply. I also wanted to try some so I got some sent
to me from Big Tree Farms I got the Blonde
Sachet Coconut Sugar which is Organic, Vegan, NON-GMO, unrefined s and tare
one of the lowest glycemic index sweeteners, organic
coconut sugar is highly nutritious, ecologically beneficial and provides
sustained energy with a similar taste to soft brown sugar.
I also got Coco
Hydro in the flavors Original, Pineapple and Lemon Lime is coconut water
on-demand in four delicious natural flavors. Just mix with water for Coconut Water.
Coco Hydro is vegan,
NON-GMO and gluten-free. These are made to be portable so you can grab and go,
sustainably sourced and shipped
with naturally occurring essential electrolytes, nutrients of 25 coconuts per
pouch
My Opinion: I really like the
Blonde Coconut Sugar as it sweetens just like sugar but without a sugar spike
so safer for those with diabetes and those watching sugar intake. I am not
digging the Coco Hydro and I have tried many brands not sure what is about
coconut water I dislike I even tried the one with pineapple and got a nice
yellow color and pineapple smells.
