This movie is inspired by the critically acclaimed
book Crystal Lake Memories:
The Complete History of Friday the 13th
this takes viewers behind the mask on an epic journey into the making of the
landmark horror franchise from its humble beginnings in 1980 at a New Jersey
summer camp to the blockbuster release of its 2009 “reboot”. Combining hundreds
of rare and never before seen photographs, film clips, outtakes, archival
documents, conceptual art and behind the scenes footage and featuring
interviews with more than 150 cast and crew members spanning all twelve films
and the television series.
My Opinion: I remember how scary this movie was as a
child and hope they remake it for the current generation of kids or even
restored the older versions. I felt this movie was a great representation of
the movie and TV series and I learned things I never knew before as well. A
movie must for any collector to have as it does contain so many rare things. I
also live close to a Crystal Lake here in Maine and I can never look at it the
same way since this movie.
