I hate to think fall and Halloween will be here in a little over 1 and a ½ months and I found a great book to read to your kids from Ideal Publications called Countdown to Halloween by Patricia Reeder Eubank this is for ages 2 to 5 years old and called a board book. When Little Kitty sees ten carved pumpkins sitting on Witch’s front steps he asks, “How many days till Halloween?”  And so began this colorful countdown to Little Kitty’s favorite night of the year. Join Little Kitty as he discovers the fun symbols associated with Halloween spiders, bats, mice and more. Patricia Eubank‘s detailed art provides little ones with the opportunity to pore over the pages and find something new at each reading. Her love for cats and all things furry shine through the pages of this charming book.

My Opinion: I found this story to be nice and included great pictures and the use of math. I like how inquisitive Little Kitty is and who he encounters along the way.
