Entertainment is Five Star on September 1, 2015 was written and directed by
Keith Miller. Five Star stars James “Primo” Grant and John Diaz (Mosquito).
This movie is about a member fo the notorious Bloods since he was 12 years old
both in the film and in real life. Primo takes John the son of his slain mentor
under his wing versing him in the code of the streets; Set in East New York
Five Star blends documentary and fictional storytelling to avoid worn clichés
of gang culture to offer compelling portrait of two men forced to confront the
question of what it really means to be a man.
My Opinion: This is a great movie and a must for all
to see include teens as they need to know that gang life is not all it is
cracked up to be that some portray it to be. It is a mix of truth and fiction
but still more factual then fiction. The actors did a great job and I enjoyed
this very much.
This movie runs 83 minutes and not rated.
