The Flirtation Experiment Putting Magic, Mystery, and Speak Into Your Everyday Marriage by Lisa Jacobson and Phylicia Masonheimer are popular Christian voices. Many of us long for a deeper emotional and physical intimacy in our marriages, but we wonder if that moment got lost forever somewhere between the kids, the dishes, and the utility bills.
In The
Flirtation Experiment Lisa Jacobson and Phylicia Masonheimer challenge you to
give intentional, consistent flirting with your husband a try from the kitchen
to the bedroom to an evening walk. As they’ve discovered in their own
marriages, sometimes a little playfulness can bring huge transformation.
In short, lively chapters, Lisa and Phylicia give
you the ideas and biblical grounding you need to discover the passion waiting
in every day whether you are looking for where your spark went or simply
want to fan the flame higher, find out:
Why can’t you wait for the perfect time to work on
your marriage
What it looks like in to tease positively rather
than making fun of each other
How to overcome your fear of rejection
Why the Bible encourages women to cultivate marital
chemistry
Practical ways to find the intimacy and romance you
crave
God can use your flirtation experiment to bring
about the heart connection you desire. May the power of pursuing love and the
fun flirting with your man be the beginning of something truly beautiful for
you both.
My Opinion: Being married is hard and to be
transparent mine has fallen apart we were together for 20 years before I got
tired to talking to him and him not listening to what I wanted so I cheated. We
separated for a few years and now living together again and to be honest I am
not sure this is going to work as I am totally different and so is he. I loved
being alone and living alone but struggled to pay all my bills. This book I
plan on using to see if it can help me anywhere in my life.
