As a women I wear lip balm or even lipstick as my
lips get very dry from being exposed to the elements everyday rather it is the
sun, wind, rain and so on. I discovered Balmshot online and these are the
coolest lipbalm cases shaped like a buck shot for men or women. Balmshot are
not your ordinary lipbalm these have a tighter fitting cap and a smooth turning
base. Balmshot comes in Vanilla Mint in a Pure Pink Camo or Original Pink it
has a pucture of a doe and baby on the packaging with a portion of sales of
these to help provide breast cancer screenings and mammograms. Has SPF15 and
made with aloe, vitamin E along with being PABA Free.
Classic which comes in a yellow buckshot tube that
has a bear on the packaging that has a double barrel protection against
sunburn, windburn chapped lips with SPF 15. Classic is made with beeswax,
natural oils and Vitamin E.
Cool Mint which has a duck on the package with SPF15
along with double barrel protection against windburn, sunburn chapped lips. This
has natural oils and Vitamin E in it as well.
My Opinion: I like the design it will appeal to both
men and women rather you are a hunter or not. The design is unique like I have
never seen before and I will be putting these in my families stockings this
year as they are hunters and will love these.
The cap stays on nicely so far and it was easy for me to apply with no
messy pockets.
About Balmshot: Wayne S. Forrey, the company's
founder and product inventor, contracted lip cancer in 1983 due to his outdoor
lifestyle and frequent sunburned lips. After successful lip reconstruction
surgery, he began using lip balm everyday to protect and moisturize his lips.
Wayne became dissatisfied with industry standard lip balm dispensers because
the knurled disk base would twist and rotate in his pants pockets...thereby
mashing the balm into the cap...making a gooey mess. Many people told Wayne
they experienced the exact same gooey mess. To solve this problem, Wayne went
to his garage and invented a much better lip balm dispenser system including a
firmer twist base and tighter fitting cap. BALMSHOT was the result of this
innovative effort, and a new Idaho company was born in 2010.
