Heroic Red For New Year's 2016

This New Year’s Eve I got to celebrate with some wines from Heroic Red. If you have not heard of Heroic Red these wines donate a portion of the sales to wounded warrior via a partnership with homes4woundedheroes.com and homes4goldstars.com that provide mortgages and tax free home to wounded combat heroes.

The two wines I was sent were Heroic Red which has aromas of boysenberry with hints of leather, cedar, cigar tobacco. Flavors or raspberry jam, chocolate and black paper with faint echo of black tea on the long finish 58% Syrah, 29% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Valiant White has aromas of peach and orange blossoms with intense citrus flavors and dominating peach and tropical fruits Moscato.

My Opinion: These wines are very interesting and the smell does reflect the description and very tasty. I really think this is a great project to donate to as these men and women are brave souls.
Where to Buy? Online, Leer Vineyards, Wal-Mart in some Texas and California Locations.

Make sure when you celebrate New Year’s Eve you do not drink and drive and be responsible for your actions.
