Boylan’s Bottling Holiday Gift Guide 2018

Boylan’s Bottling since 1891 when a pharmacist named William Boylan created an elixir in his Paterson, New Jersey, apothecary. He named that serum, a derivative of birch trees, Boylan’s Birch, and began selling individual cups from a barrel in the back of a wagon. I was sent a variety of 12 different flavors Creamy Red Birch Beer the addition of vanilla makes this a creamier, slightly smoother version of the original. Birch Beer is distinctively minty and sharp, with strong notes of sweet birch and wintergreen oil. Cane Cola a complex cola derived from oils of orange, lemon, and lime, with hints of nutmeg, coriander, and lavender. Black Cherry has a unique blend of cherries, wild cherry bark, and extracts of bourbon vanilla that makes it flavorful, sweet, and tart. Orange is refreshing and less sweet than a typical orange soda, with Italian mandarin and tangerine oils. Ginger Ale is a classic, pale ginger ale, with a clean taste and smoother than a traditional ginger beer.

Root Beer is rich sassafras flavor derived from cinnamon, sweet birch, vanilla, and wintergreen oil. Diet Root Beer a zero calorie version, with sweeteners carefully blended to eliminate aftertaste. Diet Crème is sugar-free, smooth, creamy and delicate. A flavor that’s light and tasty. Crème has hints of vanilla extract, coffee, and chocolate result in a uniquely refreshing take on a classic creme soda. Lemon Seltzer pinpoints carbonation, natural lemon flavor. Crisp, refreshing, zero-calorie. Grape an oaky Concord grape flavor bold, full-bodied and neither too sweet nor too dry.
My Opinion: I love the flavors of sodas that I got and I found them not to be real sugary and sweet like some sodas can be. My favorite is Black Cherry, Grape but I did enjoy them all. I also found even though these are made with cane sugar they did not give me access gas like some soda can.
