Edge of Yesterday By Robin Stevens Payes Holiday Gift Guide 2018

Edge of Yesterday By Robin Stevens Payes from Small Batch Books. One 13-year-old geek girl Charley Morton decides to build what she believes is Leonardo da Vinci’s design for time machine for the middle school science fair, she has two thoughts in mind: to win first prize into travel back in time to meet her idol, Leonardo. Her goal: to find out how the Renaissance artists, engineer, scientist, musician, anatomist, and inventor managed to do it all.

My Opinion: this is a great book for teenagers as they will learn about STEM, and the struggles that girls are facing growing up along with about the past and what it was like. There is a teenage love triangle, braces, hair that does not cooperate, and concern with appearances the usual teenage stuff.
