The First Easter By Carol Heyer

I recently got the book The First Easter by Carol Heyer from Ideals Publications to review. This is for kids in a board book form so they can understand why we really celebrate Easter it is not about Easter baskets and candy but the day Jesus rose from the dead. This book has great illustration and tells the story of Jesus very well being 22 pages long.
From the book:
“Jesus and his disciples traveled to Jerusalem from the feast of Passover. Jesus rode into the city on a donkey. People lined the streets to see him, and they laid palm branched on the ground to make a soft carpet for the donkey’s feet. This was the first Palm Sunday. “

My Opinion: I really enjoyed this book I have and always will believe in Jesus and he has a power that people need to understand and show their kids about religion and go to church on Sundays. This book is beautifully illustrated and I will be sharing this with my young nieces. This is a great bed time story for all.

Disclaimer: I was in no way compensated for this review and this is solely my own opinion which may differ from yours.
