McDonald's Lobster Roll Review & Giveaway

McDonald's Bridgton Window

It is summertime here in Maine and McDonald’s has released a new Lobster Roll for a limited time for a current price of $7.99 and made with 100 % real North Atlantic Lobster and has mayonnaise dressing layered on a bed of crisp leaf and shredded lettuce, served on a home style and toasted roll. Each Lobster Roll has 6 grams of fat and 24 grams of protein with 290 calories. When i saw the commercial on TV i was excited to try this lobster roll as they have some stiff competition as Maine is known for its lobster and coming from McDonald’s I did not know what to expect.  I was headed to my closest McDonald’s which is located in Bridgton, ME. I was waiting for my lobster roll and found they were real quick at preparing as you would expect from a fast food chain. I took it to go so when i got it home i opened it up being very careful not to mess it up (but it was a mess anyways) and decided it has too much lettuce for my liking so i took it off but tastes just like a lobster roll but with a price virtually half of what a fresh lobster roll would cost me at Cousin’s Maine Lobster which is $15.00.

**Restaurants serving the Lobster Roll include those in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut (excluding Fairfield County). **

Disclaimer: I got this free as part of a product review for McDonald’s Maine. This is my opinion which may differ from your own.
