VeggieTales Every Day with God 365 Daily Devos for
Girls ages 4-7, from Worthy kids/ Ideals publishing. In this latest 365 day
devotional from VeggieTales the updated content and art offer the perfect
opportunity for parent and child to share time together each day. Each entry
includes a Bible verse, short devotional, thought of the day and prayer. The
content will help children learn more about God and develop a daily practice to
keep him close in their lives. The book is perfect for bedtime reading, family
devotional time or is a fresh way to start each day! Let me tell you about some
of the pages inside Day 1 Ready and Waiting : lots of people pray at special
times, like at bedtime or before meals. But God says we should pray all the
time. What does that mean? God want you to feel very close to him, and the best
way to do that is to talk to him all through your day. So when something makes
you happy, tell God right away! If you feel confused, ask God to help you. If
you feel sad, pray for God’s comfort. He’s always with you! You don’t have to
wait for a special time of day to talk to God. Thought of the day God can’t
wait to hear what you’re thinking about! Pray today dear God, thank you for
listening to my prayers anytime, anywhere! Amen.
My Opinion: I really like this book as I know there
are a lot of parents today that honestly does not teach their kids about
religion or God. I like that they can learn many things from this book some of
them being faith, saying thank you and unconditional love.
