Domino’s Brown Sugar & Brown Sugar Brownies

Domino’s Brown Sugar is used in so many recipes and cooking. I was sent Dark Brown Sugar that creates a flavor that is deep, rich, and real. The moistness and deep, rich molasses flavor make it ideal for full-flavored or savory recipes. Some great uses for it are brownies, gingerbread, coffee, chocolate cakes, barbecue sauce, marinades, sweet-and-sour sauces.

Dominoes Light Brown Sugar has a nutty, caramel flavor, moistness with a subtle molasses flavor. This is perfect or ideal for cookies, shortbread, spice cakes, brownies, and crumble toppings.

I made Brown Sugar Brownies
1 1/3 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup packed Domino’s Dark Brown Sugar
½ cup butter softened
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup chopped walnuts

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees, lightly grease a 9 x 9 x 1 ¾” pan.
Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt then set aside. In a large bowl, beat together butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
Stir in the flour mixture in the nuts until well blended. Spread evenly in prepared pan. Bake 25- 30 minutes or until surface springs back when gently pressed, Cool slightly. While still warm, cut into bars with a sharp knife.

I love brown sugar and use it in so many recipes from oatmeal, muffins, bananas foster and more.
