The Standoff At Sparrow Creek from RLJE Films will be out on March 5, 2019, with an MRSP DVD $27.97 and Blu-Ray $28.97. The film is written and directed by Henry Dunham and stars James Badge Dale (13 Hours), Chris Mulkey (Captain Phillips), Brian Geraghty (NBC’s Chicago PD), Robert Aramayo (HBO’s Game of Thrones), Patrick Fischler (Showtime’s Twin Peaks), Happy Anderson (Cinemax’s The Knick), and Gene Jones (The Hateful Eight). After a mass shooting at a plea’s funeral, reclusive ex-cop Gannon realizes that the killer belongs to the same militia he joined after quitting the force. There, he sets about a series of grueling interrogations, intent on ferreting out the killer and turning him over to the authorities to prevent further bloodshed.
My Opinion: this movie did not have the best lighting and at times hard to hear, and I also found that it was long, boring and not very action-packed as you would expect.
